Blinky: LED Banner Marquee — Privacy Policy

Blinky ("the app") is made by Blinky Team. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. Blinky has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs. Nothing you type or create in the app is sent to us or to any server.

Data stored on your device

Your banner text, settings, saved presets and Lucky Spin options are stored only on your device. They are removed when you delete the app.

Microphone

If you turn on audio-reactive effects, Blinky uses the microphone to measure sound levels in real time so the LED dots can react to music. Audio is processed on your device only. It is never recorded, stored or transmitted.

Music files

When you choose a music file, it is played and analyzed on your device only. The file is not uploaded anywhere.

Local network

Blinky may request local network access to find nearby devices running Blinky so banners can be synchronized. This communication stays on your local network and is not sent to us.

GIF export and sharing

When you export a GIF, the file is created on your device and shared only through the iOS share sheet to the destination you choose.

Feedback emails

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and message only to reply to you. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Children's privacy

Blinky does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
